Designer
We take serious pride in our pixels, and we're looking for someone who feels the same to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for shaping the interface and experience for one of the country's most popular web applications used by 50,000 of your design peers in more than 100 countries.
Why we need you
Before a single line of code is written, our design team is responsible for shaping the experience of every feature in Campaign Monitor. This involves exploring different design approaches for a new feature through sketching, HTML and PhotoShop prototyping and coming up with the most elegant solution possible. We're kind of fussy like that.
While interface design will be a core responsibility, you'll also have the chance to get your feet wet across many parts of the business. Whether it's working on a new design for our site, designing a banner ad and landing page for a campaign we're running or coming up with t-shirt design ideas.
What we're looking for
To be considered for the position, you'll need:
- A genuine passion for designing beautiful, polished interfaces.
- Solid experience with iterative design - you should be able to quickly mockup various interface solutions (sketches, Photoshop mockups or HTML prototypes) to a single problem and evaluate the most effective approach.
- Sensitivity to typography and color - you know when things just "look right".
- Experience writing good copy. We value writing skills highly at Freshview.
- Good knowledge of modern web standards, JavaScript libraries and AJAX.
Demonstrable experience in web application design that shows strong knowledge of user interface principles is a big plus.

How many hours will I be expected to work?
We have lives too. Our staff do 40 hour weeks and we're pretty flexible about your working hours.
Where are you guys based?
Freshview is located right near the beach in southern Sydney about 30 mins from the city centre. We're also just off the freeway and a 30 min drive from Wollongong.
