Interface Designer
We take serious pride in our pixels, and we're looking for someone who feels the same to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for shaping the future interface and user experience for both our web-based products, used by tens of thousands of your design peers in more than 100 countries.
How we approach design
Before a single line of code is written, our design team is responsible for shaping the experience of every feature in our applications. We don't do big specifications or complex usability studies and instead we design, debate, argue and throw lots of ideas out. The point is, we keep trying things until we end up with the best experience possible for our customers. That finished interface then becomes the specification for our developers.
What we're looking for
To be considered for the position, you'll need:
- An absolute passion for delivering the best experience possible for those using your designs.
- Solid experience with iterative design - you should be able to quickly mockup various interface solutions (sketches, Photoshop mockups and HTML prototypes) to a single problem and evaluate the most effective approach.
- Strong visual design skills - did we mention we take pride in every pixel ;)
Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in web application design is a big plus. As is familiarity with our software, so if you've already used Campaign Monitor or MailBuild before, your application will be looked upon favourably.
What will you be doing?
As an interface designer, you'll be responsible for improving the experience for our customers all over the world. Watch how they use Campaign Monitor and MailBuild, and tweak the interface to work more smoothly for them. You'll take feedback from our support team, come up with great new ideas, and work with the team to make them happen.

Location
This position is only available in our Sydney office, but we're more than happy to relocate the right candidate. We recently relocated 2 members of our team from North America, so if you're interested in moving to sunny Sydney, please consider applying.

How many hours will I be expected to work?
We have lives too. Our staff do 40 hour weeks and we're pretty flexible about your working hours.
Where are you guys based?
Freshview is located right near the beach in southern Sydney about 30 mins from the city centre. We're also just off the freeway and a 30 min drive from Wollongong.
